Congratulations to Hartly Family Learning Center on its official Grand Opening!

It was great to join with other members of the Hartly community yesterday to celebrate with this facility’s staff and cut the ribbon on the center’s new building.

I would like to extend congratulations to Connie Richard, the owner of Hartly Family Learning Center, who had the vision to start the facility in order to provide full time child care for working families and part time preschool education. Summer camps for children ages 2 to 12 are also being offered.

Connie worked with the Delaware Economic Development Office (DEDO) in acquiring funding through the state’s small business loan program. DEDO Director Alan Levin and other DEDO employees, as well as parents whose children are enrolled at the center, were on hand for the grand opening celebration!
