Friends For Jeff Spiegelman
Thank you for your patience these last two weeks. I was away both weekends and I was unable to type a weekly update. This week is the final 4 days of this year’s session. We still have SOOOO much to do. We don’t even have a budget to vote on yet. Looks like June 30th is going to be a long long evening.
-At 7pm at the Kenton Ruritan is a monthly meeting of the 11th RD GOP. This month we will be joined by the 29th District. Social time begins at 645.
-On Tuesday, I will be hosting Paws for People in Legislative Hall. This is a great group of people and and therapy dogs. And if there is anyone who needs a little therapy it is we elected officials and staff at Leg Hall in late June….
-No update next week as well. I will be recuperating. So, in the meantime, please have a happy and safe 4th of July holiday. Happy Birthday, America!
I invite constituents to stop by any of the following meetings to share a question or concern about a legislative or district matter that may be on their mind. We have added a couple of dates and times:
- COFFEE MEETING – Tuesday, July 11th – 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. – The Young Bean Coffee Shop (314 Main Street, Clayton)
- MEET & GREET – Saturday, July 22nd – 12-noon to 1 p.m. – 3 Palms Petting Zoo (924 Blackbird Forest Road, Clayton) – The RAIN DATE is Saturday, July 29th.
It is rare that I go a whole week without cooking. But, that is what happens in late June. I really appreciate how many people have been coming up to me over the last couple of weeks with regret that I have not been posting recipes. It makes me feel good that you appreciate the effort. We will return in July. I promise.
