Sportmen’s Caucus Thursday- Chinese Takeout- April 22 2018 Update

Friends for Jeff Spiegelman

It has been a very busy last couple of weeks. I hope you are enjoying spring now that it finally appears to be here…. for the moment…. Part II.

-I am happy to announce that I have filed to run for reelection as the State Representative for Delaware’s 11th District. It has been a real honor to represent the people of this area and there is so much work left to be done. Thank you for your support.

Please go to the following link 2018 11th District Constituent Questionnaire or go to www.jeffDERepresentative.com to take the survey. Your responses will help guide the decisions I make at Legislative Hall in Dover on behalf of our district. If you would rather take the survey by mail, please follow the link for the survey. In the introduction, there is a link you can click on to download the survey to print it out and mail it in.

-On Tuesday this week, the CR, Capital, and Smyrna School Districts Science Dimensions will be doing a show-and-tell at Legislative Hall. I am really looking forward to seeing what the students have come up with. Afterwards, I have another Joint Sunset Committee Review of the State Board of Education.

-On Thursday I have a meeting with the State Human Resource Managers organization in order to give them a legislative update.

-Thursday is the next meeting of the Delaware Sportsman Caucus. Come join us at 11:30 a.m. in the House Majority Hearing Room. This is open to the public.

-On Saturday, the GOP is having their State Convention. I am also speaking at noon at the Delmarva Sportsman Expo at the Harrington Fair Grounds. I am giving a…. wait for it…. legislative update.

-On Sunday, I am attending the Dover Symphony Orchestra’s 50th Anniversary Pops Concert at 3 p.m. at the Rollins Center in Dover Downs. Come out and see it. People under 18 are free.

-Here is our constituent meeting schedule. Come to any or all of these events for a little political discussion! We have added a NEW TIME/PLACE to our meeting schedule. See below:

Friday, April 27th Harvest Ridge 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Monday, May 14th Mamie Warren Senior Center Noon to 1 p.m.

Tuesday, May 22nd Eats and Sweets 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

It has been difficult to get any serious cooking in lately with my class, session, and family schedule. So, the other night, Jenn and I decided to, once again, try something that is always dangerous for many reasons.

-1 Chinese restaurant.

-1 phone

-1 means of travel

First, decide you are too busy to cook and do dishes after cooking. Then, decide you want to order something. Then, realize the only places that deliver to your house are pizza/Italian and you just had pizza/Italian for lunch and/or dinner at work the last couple days. Get annoyed that NOBODY DELVERS CHINESE IN SMYRNA/CLAYTON! Call the store. Order what you want. Go get it. Eat it. Feel unhealthy. Blech.

— Thanks.
