Recently I started to feed my son solid foods. We got a baby food maker that steams and chops. The other day, I tried making him some plain mashed potatoes. He did not like them one little bit, but it gave me an idea for baby food maker mashed potatoes (for adults). Here we go

-3 Russet Potatoes

-1 clove garlic

-1 teaspoon melted butter or milk

-Salt and pepper

Wash/scrub the potatoes well under warm water. Cut into 1 inch pieces (I like to leave the skin on). Peal the garlic and chop it. Add both to the baby food maker. Add salt and pepper. Steam for 20 minutes. Pulse a few times and then chop. Add a bit of the melted butter or milk and chop again until you reach the desired consistency. Meanwhile, cook something else that your 7 ½ month old might eat.

Thanks. Have a good week.
