DelDOT Traffic Alert: Temporary Traffic Stoppages on US 13 near Brenford Road/Big Oak Road

Smyrna – The Delaware Department of Transportation announces that motorists should expect temporary traffic stoppages on US 13 northbound and southbound in the vicinity of the Brenford Road/Big Oak Road intersection, beginning at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday (August 4th) and continuing through 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday (August 5th).

The temporary stoppages are necessary to allow crews to safely relocate overhead communication lines. Traffic will be held intermittently as work is performed.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, expect brief delays, and use caution when traveling through the work area. Drivers should obey all traffic control devices and follow directions from personnel on site.
