Friends for Jeff Spiegelman,
We had a great showing at the Townsend Parade and Fair. A huge thank you to all our volunteers who gave up a Saturday morning to walk with me. Congratulations to the town of Townsend for another great event this year.
-Out next meeting with constituents is this Wednesday. Come out to the Mamie Warren Senior Center for some ice cream and conversation. See below for more details.
-This Saturday is our next parade. Jenn, Saul, Elianah, and I are going to be participating in the Clayton Railroad Days parade. Then I am going out for some door knocking. Then lunch at the Townsend Fire Company September BBQ. Then back out for some more door knocking.
-If you would like a sign for your yard, please email me your address or stop by one of our constituent meetings below. Thank you and let’s turn the streets of the 11th into “yellow sign roads”. Please make sure that the signs are at least 10 feet off the road, or DelDot will come and take them and send me a fine.
-If you would like to make a donation, thank you very much for your generous support. You can either mail your check to Friends for Jeff Spiegelman. PO Box 869. Clayton, DE 19938 or you can go to the following link to make an online donation; https://secure.piryx.com/donate/6vHF3dJM/Friends-For-Jeff-Spiegelman/
-COME ONE, COME ALL. All are invited to our constituent meetings. Come to any or all for some good conversation. I will have my yellow signs with me at these events if you would like to pick one up for your yard.

7 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Boo! At the Zoo
I tried this recipe. It was…. strangely good. Give it a shot and let me know how to make it better…. besides having the silly idea to make ribs with peanut butter in the first place!
-1/4 cup peanut butter
-3 tbsp olive oil
-2 tspn Peri Peri seasoning
-dash of nutmeg
-1 tspn honey
-1 tbsp garlic powder and ground ginger
Combine all the ingredients except the ribs and whisk until smooth. If it is a little too thin, add some peanut butter. If it is a little too thick, add some oil. Marinade your ribs and brush on as a sauce through the cooking process. Follow whatever rib recipe you like.
— Thanks.
