Friends for Jeff Spiegelman,
We almost have our next round of meetings with constituents ready to be announced. They will begin in mid-December.
-Congratulations to the Delaware Auctioneers Association for a great event Friday night. I enjoyed being a judge for the BID calling contest (long story). Another big congratulations to Harvest Ridge Winery for a successful 1 year anniversary celebration.
-Wednesday, November 19th is a chicken and dumplings dinner at the Townsend Fire Hall. I am going to get there early because that night is the House GOP Caucus meeting.
-Thursday, November 20th is the Returns Day Lunch at Maple Dale with the Kent County Republican Women. I am really looking forward to it. Thank you for the invite, ladies.
-Please remember to let us know if you see Jeff Spiegelman signs. We would like to have as many back as possible.
One question I often get when talking about my recipes is “don’t you ever get a belly ache?”. As a matter of fact, yes. Sometimes. So what is a person to do when they have eaten (or otherwise consumed) something that didn’t totally agree with them? It is guaranteed to work some of the time.
-1 packet of unsalted Saltines
-Ginger ale
Open the package and allow the crackers to go a bit stale. This makes them a little softer. Then seal in an airtight container or plastic bag for when you need them. A couple of crackers washed down with some ginger ale MIGHT be the thing that does the trick.
Thanks. Have a good week.
