A huge thank you to Harvest Ridge Winery and Beth Rosebrooks for the bottle release party this weekend at Harvest Ridge benefiting State Police Officer Stephen Ballard and other law enforcement.

-This week will be spent mostly making sure I am caught up on emails that I received through the legislative session in regards to many important issues facing our state. If you were one of those who sent an email and I have not gotten back to you yet, my apologies. My staff and I are working on the replies that will go out to hundreds of constituents.

This recipe was born out of frustration. I knew I wanted to cook some turkey wings but I was struggling to figure out what flavor I wanted. My first two attempts went into the garbage. Finally, I thought I would try something that is very close to cheating. But, it worked out well.
-1 bottle Italian dressing
-Turkey wings
Inject each wing with some of the dressing. Pour the rest of the dressing over the wings and marinate overnight. Smoke at 250 degrees until internal temperature reaches 165-170 degrees. For an added texture, I then put the wings in a toaster oven on high for a few minutes. I liked them more that way. Jenn did not like them as much.
