Happy New Year

We are just a couple weeks away from returning to Legislative Hall. In the meantime, there is a lot of work to be done.

This coming week has several meetings;

-Monday night is a Kenton Town Council meeting

-Wednesday is an Auto Alliance lunch and a Townsend Town Council meeting

-Thursday is the Kent County GOP regional meeting at Grotto’s Pizza

-Friday night is Tastings with Rep Spiegelman at Painted Stave Distilling at 5pm. Please join us.

-Saturday is the Hartly Fire Co and the Townsend Fire Co awards banquets

MARK YOUR CALENDAR – We’ve set up our next round of “Meet & Greet” gatherings with constituents! Hope to see you at one of the following events:

– MEET & GREET/TASTING – Friday, January 9th – 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Painted Stave Distilling (103 W. Commerce Street, Smyrna)

– SODA & ICED TEA MEETING – Monday, January 12th – 12-noon to 1 p.m. – Little Italy’s Pizza Shop (325 Main Street, Townsend)

-I’ll be at The Young Bean Coffee Shop in Clayton on Tuesday, January 20th between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.!

– MEET & GREET/WINE TASTING – Friday, January 23rd – 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Harvest Ridge Winery (447 Westville Road, Marydel, DE)

Since my son was born, I find myself using this recipe often.

-1 vehicle equipped with a child seat

-1 restaurant that has booster seats

-1 or more forms of payment

Drive the family to a restaurant. Put Saul in the booster seat. Distract him with healthy finger foods and toys. Order off the menu. Play with Saul. Eat. Play with Saul. Use the form of payment to purchase your meal. Play with Saul. Put Saul back in the car seat. Play with Saul. Drive home. Play with Saul. Put Saul to bed.

Repeat as necessary
