Friends for Jeff Spiegelman,
Late in September is one of our most important political events of the year. The Townsend Parade and Fair is always a fun time and I would like your help. We need volunteers to walk in the parade. We will have a float for those who would prefer to ride rather than walk. Please put the morning of September 23rd on your calenders and we will be making more information available in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for your support!
-My Fall classes begin this week. Woah! Where did the summer go?!
-Wednesday morning is the Smyrna School District Welcome Back Breakfast.
-There is a Delaware Veterans Trust Fund Celebrity Bartender Fundraiser at Harvest Ridge on Thursday. Please go to www.harvestridgewinery.com for more details.
-On Saturday the 26th the Dover Air Force Base is having an Open House. Afterwards, I will be going to the Townsend Fire Company Monthly Summer BBQ. Then, that evening, it is off to the Clayton Fire Company Crab Feast.
-Hartly Fire Company Breakfast is Sunday.

I stumbled on this the other day. Not sure what I am going to do with it yet….
-1/2 cup fresh sage leaves
-1 tbsp honey or agave
-salt and pepper to taste
-1 tbsp olive oil
-1 clove garlic, minced
-1/2 lemon, juiced
Combine all ingredients into a food processor. Then, ponder what the heck to do with it. Maybe baked chicken…
— Thanks.
