First week of campaigning went very well. Thank you to everyone who requested a sign. We have plenty more available if you are interested. Feel free to put some up in your neighbor’s yards (with their permission, of course).

-Tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at the Kenton Ruritan is the monthly meeting of the 11^th District GOP. Show up and see how you can help our local candidates.

-On Tuesday I am taking part in a bill signing to allow for Industrial Hemp production in Delaware.

-No update next weekend. Have a happy and safe Labor Day weekend. Good luck to all the teachers, parents, and kids going back to school this week and next.

-If you would like a sign for your yard, please email me your address or stop by one of our constituent meetings below. Thank you and let’s turn the streets of the 11^th into “yellow sign roads”.

-We are looking for volunteers to help us on Saturday, September 22^nd for the annual Townsend Parade. We are going to have a float and we need people to walk and ride with us in our familiar campaign yellow. No experience necessary. Show up and we will have shirts for you. Please let me know if you are interested. Lineup is at 9 a.m. for a 10 a.m. kick-off.

-COME ONE, COME ALL. All are invited to our constituent meetings. Come to any or all for some good conversation. I will have my yellow signs with me at these events if you would like to pick one up for your yard.

Tuna. It’s delicious in so many ways.

-Thick cut tuna loin steaks

-Prepared wasabi

-Sesame seeds

-Soy sauce

Rinse the steak and pat dry with a paper towel. Spread a thin layer of wasabi on the tuna steak and sprinkle with the sesame seeds on both sides. Heat the grill on medium high. Put the steaks on the grill and spray with soy sauce. Cook 2 minutes. Flip. Spray with the soy sauce. Cook 2 minutes. Serve very rare.
