Friends for Jeff Spiegelman,
We have one more week of break while organizations are still doing presentations to the Joint Finance and Bond committees.
-Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Kenton Ruritan is the next monthly meeting of the 11th District GOP. Come join us.
-On Tuesday morning I am having a meeting with DelDOT about what we can do to try to make the intersection at Seeneytown Road and Seven Hickories Road safer.
-R.I.P. Rocky Bushweller, late wife of my friend, Senator Brian Bushweller. I will be attending the funeral on Tuesday.
-On Thursday I am attending our last House GOP caucus before we are back in session next week.
-Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss on Friday, March 1st. To celebrate Read Across America, I will be reading to classes at JBM and Clayton Intermediate Schools. Friday night I am going to Chowdown for Charity!
-Saturday is the annual Sportsman Show at the Cheswold Fire Hall.
-We have completed the schedule for the next round of meetings with constituents. Please stop by one or all and let me know what is on your mind.
Friday, March 22nd – Harvest Ridge Winery 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 13th – 3 Palms Zoo Noon to 1 p.m. Easter Egg Hunt (rain date Saturday, April 27th)
Thursday, April 25th – Little Italy Pizza Noon to 1 p.m.
What to do with a hot salt block after dinner? Well, Jenn and I gave dessert a shot. It was killer!
-Bananas sliced lengthwise (so it makes two, long, halves)
-Plain milk chocolate bar
The salt block should be just hot enough to melt the chocolate without burning it. Allow a couple of pieces of chocolate to completely melt on the hot block. Scrape it off with a butter knife and use it to stick the banana slices back together. Allow to cool just long enough to not fall apart but still be hot and gooey. Enjoy. Realize what a mess you just made. Laugh.
— Thanks.
