I schedule these gatherings to give residents in the 11th District an opportunity to ask a question or talk about issues relating to state government or the district.

I enjoy this easy and healthy homemade salad dressing. For those of you who think this looks suspiciously like my simple teriyaki recipe from a few years ago…. well, you are not wrong…

-Juice from 1 large lemon slice

-dash of sesame oil

-dash of hot sauce or sriracha sauce if you like spicy

-drop of honey if you like sweet (or, do both. Why not)

-3 tbpn low-sodium soy sauce

Mix and pour over your salad. Enjoy.

— Thanks.
