No update next week. Have a very happy Passover and Easter.

-Another Monday in April, another Monday evening Sunset Committee Meeting.

-On Tuesday I am speaking to some business students at Smyrna High School about the challenges of opening up a business in the First State. I am having trouble getting what I am going to say to under several hours….

-On Wednesday is the Insurance and Financial Advisers Legislative Lunch.

-Thursday is the next meeting of the Delaware Sportsman Caucus. Our guests will be representatives from the Farm Bureau to discuss the issues they are having with the Deer Management program and a guest from the American Suppressor Association.

-April 20…… HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SAULY!!!!!!!! I am not ready for you to be 5.

-We got rained out of our constituent meeting at 3 Palms Zoo this weekend. And then I had something come up that interferes with the rain date. And then I had something come up that interferes with my Little Italy Pizza Shop meeting. We will be back in touch when we have things rescheduled. In the meantime, I can always be reached by phone, email, or social media.

A constituent sent me a recipe for lemon tart that looked really good (thanks Greg!). When we are back in a couple weeks I am hoping to have had a chance to try it and share it here. In the meantime, I get asked a lot about cooking failures. I wanted to share with you a recent one. It…. wasn’t good…. what did I do wrong?

-Medium sized strawberries

Preheat the oven to 225 degrees. Slice the strawberries length wise and put the flat end down on a cookie sheet. Bake for 3 hours. Eat and wonder why you just did that.
