-Very sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. George Brown. You will be missed.
-Former Delaware Senator Brian Bushweller is receiving the 2019 Kent County Distinguished Citizen Award from the Boy Scouts of America. Congratulations to him! The scholarship/awards dinner is Tuesday night and I will be attending.
-Our lunch meeting with constituents scheduled for Wednesday, October 30th at noon had to be rescheduled. The new day is Friday, November 8th. Same great place, same great time.
-Please remember that Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday. Bring on the standard yearly concerns and questions as to why we still, in the 21st Century, do Daylight Savings Time.

This is another one of those recipes where I had bits and pieces of things from other recipes left over and decided to throw them together and see what happens. Sometimes I fail (badly). Sometimes, like this, it turns out pretty well.
-Middleneck clams, washed
-crab meat
-lemon wedges
-parsley, chopped
-Old Bay or crab seasoning
Steam the clams. Rip off the shell that doesn’t have the meat. Add a pinch of crab meat on top of the clam. Sprinkle with a pinch of seasoning, a squeeze of lemon, and a small pinch of parsley. Enjoy.
