One more week of session before J.F.C. break through February.
-Happy Birthday to my wonderful wife. You are now 37 years old, but you still look 27 years old, have the energy of a 17 year old, and make me laugh like a 7 year old every day. I love you.
-Our next meeting with constituents is this Tuesday at Tony’s Sausage House on Kenton Road from 8 a.m.-9 a.m. Come out and let me buy you a cup of coffee and we can talk a little politics.
-Tuesday afternoon is the next meeting of the Legislative Oversite and Sunset committee. Also on Tuesday I am sponsoring with Rep. Heffernan a resolution honoring the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz Concentration Camp and a bill requiring Holocaust education in our public schools.
-On Wednesday, in addition to a full committee day, a bill on which I am a prime sponsor with Rep. Bennet is in the Public Safety committee. SB79, if passed, would ensure medical marijuana patients do not lose their 2nd Amendment rights. It would also mean spouses of medical marijuana patients are no longer guilty of the crime of allowing their loved ones to practice their rights (which is currently the law, unfortunately).
-On Thursday is the Delaware Electric Co-op legislative lunch.
-We are still putting together our meeting schedule. In addition to the meeting at Tony’s above, the next meeting will be at Harvest Ridge Winery on 2/7 from 5 p.m.-630 p.m.
Cooked some wings this week. Decided to make buffalo sauce. It was very easy, but I wish I had actually written down the ingredients. Good luck!
-A bunch of butter
-A big spoonful of ghee
-A WHOLE lot of hot sauce
-A dash of thyme, garlic powder, and Worchester sauce
Melt the butter in a pan. Stir in the other ingredients. Toss with chicken. Enjoy.
