Friends for Jeff Spiegelman
Welcome to our new subscribers! Also, welcome to July. I hope everyone had a nice 4th of July.
-We ended session for the year at the astoundingly reasonable time of 12:30am on July 1st. Obviously, that left a lot of work to do when session resumes in January of 2020. I still have several pieces of legislation that I would like to see passed.
-Just because we are no longer working on Legislation doesn’t mean the business of the state stops! I am still getting caught up on emails. So, if you sent me something, I am sorry if I have not gotten back to you. I am still working on it. We are also still working on the host of issues that continue to effect the 11th District including (but not limited to) the traffic light at 42 and Mt Friendship/Seenytown Road, tax ditch/water issues, and bringing rural internet to Western Kent County.
-Wednesday is out next meeting with constituents at Tony’s Sausage House on Kenton Road in Dover, DE. Free coffee will be served from 8am-9am. Come by and chat if you would like. Wednesday night is the next Townsend Town Council meeting.
-No update next Sunday. So I want to make you aware that Friday the 19th will be another meeting with Constituents at Harvest Ridge Winery on Westville Road in Marydel, DE. Come and let me buy you a glass of Delaware’s finest!
We are still working on putting the finishing touches on our next round of constituent meetings. Here is what we have scheduled so far. Stop by one or all!

Yesterday I was munching on some hard boiled eggs with a meal that had fries and some spicy chicken. I ended up getting some of the sriracha sauce from the chicken and malt vinegar from the fries on my eggs. And, you know what? It wasn’t bad. So, I’m putting it out to the Friends for Jeff Spiegelman; what is your favorite thing to put on boiled eggs? Let me know and I will post my favorite recipe next update!
